## Core concepts

- **Feed**: Tonight's events, trending bars, friends' activity, and short clips, filtered by 5/10/15/20-mile radius from your location or ZIP.
- **Room Meter**: Live vibe per bar (Quiet / Warming up / Buzzing) computed from check-ins in the last 60 minutes within a 150m GPS radius.
- **Hidden Gems**: Smaller venues surfaced by an adaptive percentile algorithm so they aren't drowned out by megabars.
- **Check-ins**: Verified by GPS (150m) with a 15-minute cooldown; earn XP, streaks, badges, and quest progress.
- **Flash Drops & Crew Rewards**: Owner-issued, redeemable perks (% off drinks, free appetizer, merch, etc. — no free alcohol per IL law) gated by check-in or crew size.
- **Bar Crawls**: Multi-venue collaborative routes with a digital "passport" stamped at each stop.
- **Curated Guides**: Shareable venue collections ("Best dive bars in Chicago", etc.).
- **Leaderboards & Quests**: Weekly/all-time rankings and challenges that drive repeat visits.
